When ever we want to edit page or to add a webpart to page, it takes some clicks and loading.
This will certainly take time especially if it is SharePoint 2010 it takes time to load page and to load the ribbon.
There is a quick way with which we can go to edit page directly.
For example we are in the home page
http://server/myteamsite/default.aspx
In the address bar just append query string ToolPaneView=2. It will be
http://server/myteamsite/default.aspx?ToolPaneView=2
This will take us to edit page directly.If the page is not checked out, it will give popup if we want to checkout the page or not. It’s a cool tip most of the developers are not aware of.
